We know the government’s introduction of VAT on private school fees from January will be a challenge for many of our families, and we are determined to support our hardworking community by reducing extra costs wherever we can, and making our fees as affordable and transparent as possible.
As we look ahead to next term, we are thrilled to share some exciting news: from January 2025, Howell’s Nursery and Prep school fees will include term-time wraparound care.
The girls can join their friends for breakfast from 7.45am, and stay after school until 5.45pm, enjoying a high tea, until you are able to pick them up, for no additional charge. We have also removed the need to book in advance for wraparound care, so you will be able to let us know on the day if your daughter will be staying at the end of the school day.
In addition, we have extended the hours of our Holiday Club provision to match our term-time hours, so the girls will be cared for from 7.45am to 5.45pm, 49 weeks of the year. The price of the Holiday Club provision has also been cut to £39 per day, which includes breakfast, a hot lunch, high tea, and all trips and activities. Inset days and all half terms will now be covered by Holiday Club.
