Interview
Everyone applying to Howell’s Co-Ed College will be interviewed by a Senior member of the Leadership team. The interview will take around 10 minutes and be general in nature, focusing on academic and personal achievements as well as students’ aspirations for the future. We would like to see some examples of students’ recent work at the interview stage so students should bring along at least two pieces of marked GCSE standard work. Students who have not already produced their report should do so at the interview and bring a short curriculum vitae.

Admission Interview
Students who are applying for Art, Drama, Music, Product Design or Sport Scholarships will have an admissions interview alongside their scholarship interview(s). External students who are not successful in the academic scholarship exam will be invited for an admissions interview.

Acceptance
Following a successful interview, we will send you a formal offer letter along with the acceptance documents with details of the acceptance deadline and how to accept your place at the College. The offer of a place will usually depend on you achieving your predicted grades in your GCSEs.
