Students and staff are celebrating today as the GCSE results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience of this year’s cohort.
The grades awarded are A*-A/9-7 62%, A*-B/9-5 85%.
Across a wide range of subjects, students achieved excellent outcomes. In the Music department, 80% of grades received were 8 or 9, Mathematics grades were 64% A*-A and in Physical Education, athletes were awarded 95% A*-A.
Students shone in a range of languages, with outstanding results in French (88% A*-A), Latin (67% in A*-A) Spanish (62% A*-A) and Welsh (100% A*-A).
These results highlight not only academic achievement but also the breadth of talent, commitment and ambition demonstrated by students.
Staff were delighted to see students rewarded for their efforts after months of dedication and perseverance. The results represent a significant milestone for Year 11 students as they prepare to embark on the next stage of their educational and career journeys.
