On Friday, 9th November, we had the pleasure of hosting the European theatre company ONATTI, who performed the French play Prendre sa revanche. The cast comprised professional actors from France, and the play revolved around the amusing tale of two antique dealers attempting to convince their buyers that fake (faux) items were actually authentic (authentique). Among the artefacts was a painting they cheekily tried to pass off as a Monet!

The two cast members were outstanding, captivating the audience from the outset and skillfully blending French with the occasional English word to help students follow the dialogue. A special mention goes to Mollie, Fern, Rose, and Asel, the four students who stepped into additional roles during the play—bravo tout le monde!

The students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and were an attentive, appreciative audience throughout. We are already looking forward to inviting ONATTI back to perform for us again in the future.
