On Tuesday 15th October, we had the pleasure of welcoming Maggie Beecher from Teacher Aid to Howell’s as we celebrated raising funds for our charity of the year in the 2023-2024 academic year, Nsobe Community School through the charity Teacher Aid.
Nsobe Community School is a school with a difference in remote rural Zambia, that offers life changing education and hope to the community’s vulnerable children. The school educates 650 students with a dedicated team of 26 teachers and provides a holistic education that includes a daily feeding programme, sports, guidance, child protection, early years development, life skills training and vocational classes.
We are delighted to announce that, through various events and activities, our wonderful community helped to raise an amazing £8,579.22 and we proudly presented a cheque to Maggie. Many thanks to our amazing community for their unstinting support.
