Prep School and Year 7 students took part in an exciting Guinness World Records attempt today, aiming to set the record for the largest poetry lesson (multi-venue) in celebration of National Poetry Day!
Teaming up with renowned poet Laura Mucha and more than 100,000 students across the country, they collaborated to create an inspiring poem centred on the theme of ‘What Counts’. In partnership with the National Literacy Trust, The Poetry Society, The Poetry Archive, and the Centre for Literacy in Primary Education, this project aims to ignite creativity, build confidence, and amplify young voices across the country.
We are incredibly proud of our students for being part of this record-breaking, impactful event!
